I have seen a big trend in people making items for themselves or to sell lately. I decided I wanted to learn to sew about a year ago and so I borrowed a sewing machine and just made a few things like zip pouches and tutus. I bought my own sewing machine in July. Finally an instruction booklet and I was shown how to use the machine. I bought a book to help me with some of the basics that has some really cute patterns. The book is called Bend-the-Rules Sewing by Amy Karol. It gives some great tips and new ways to do things. These are some of the things I have made so far. The projects are fun and leave room for your special touches.
