I have a beta fish. Its dark red and I named it "Tomi" which means "red" in Japanese.
After the new yr passes I want to get a cat. Hopefully a siamese. I'm going through petfinder.com though so I'll take whatever cat my daughters and I connect with.
Names I'm thinking of... "Keiko" which means.. the beloved or adored one. "Aika" meaning... love. "Emi" meaning... smile. "Hitomi" which means the pupil of an eye. And its usually a name given to a female with beautiful eyes. "Sakura" meaning cherry blossom
I don't know!

i'm sure your kitty will guide you to the right name! we went through a million before we got our dogs, but didn't name them until after we brought them home and let their personalities decide for us.
the shelters here in sd are actually pretty nice, plus you know you're saving a life, since they euthanize. last time we went there (about a month or so ago) they had a special on cats over 6 months, i think they were only $20 or $30.

Ohhh thanks for the tip! I will check out a shelter then. I hate that so many animals get put down. vanessa wrote: i'm sure your kitty will guide you to the right name! we went through a million before we got our dogs, but didn't name them until after we brought them home and let their personalities decide for us.

I have two very large, very loving African Emperor Scorpions. Named Betty and Barney. Hopefully I will have many many baby scorpions in the near future.

Yeah Im a HUGE pet person. Ive worked with animals for almost over two years and have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Im gunna start going to school soon so I can become a vet. anyways, back onto the subject! haha I have a baby alligator lizard. His name is Scar because he has a big black X on top of his head. I just got him recently he only about an inch and a half long. He got some growing to do. Haha I love him to death though. He's adorable and has A-L-O-T of personality. Ive never actually seen a lizard chase their tail until I saw him do it.

He may get up to a foot long(not counting his tail) depending on how I raise him or how big his tank is. But yeah, I really want to become a vet. It just seems like one of those jobs Im meant to do. Plus its a job Ill be able to keep for a long time because your always gunna need vets, nurses, ect.

That's a good site to get pets from. I found both my dogs through Petfinder.com
I have a 2 year old German shepard/chow mix named Molly, and a tri-colored 2 year old chihuahua named Bonita

I don't have a pet. But the closest I have is my neighbor's Cat, Scrappy. He really likes me.

My family has an old white cat named Casper.
I'd prefer a couple of Dogs myself. Preferably Huskys =)
