There is talk of a new movie coming out in 2010. Michael Bay is producing it and there is talk about having a new freddy. WTF. How wrong is that? ROBERT ENGLUND IS THE ONLY FREDDY. EVERRRRRRRRR.

honestly I think Michael Bay just wants to ruin everyones lives. Hes remaking friday the 13th and the birds. He already remade texas chainsaw, the hitcher, and amityville horror. Hes going to kill our inner child.

I've never been a huge fan of horror movies, yeah yeah I know, shoot me already (or put on some gloves with blades and cut out my heart if that suits you better). Anyway, "mimicry is the highest form of flattery," isn't that the saying? Michael Bay is just doing what he loves to do, cut the guy some slack. It's not like he's going to tie you to a chair and strap your eyelids open to force you to watch his remakes :o) Clockwork Orange movie night anyone?

If he didn't remake them someone else would. It seems to be the way Hollywood horror movies are going these days. Rob Zombie remade Halloween, The Hills have eyes was remade, the Wicker Man, etc. Either there's a remade horror movie, a remake of a Japanese horror movie, or an original idea that sucks. What it comes down to is modern day horror movies suck. However, if they are made it's no skin off my back it doesn't make the older movies any worse. If it's good then that's good too. I probably won't see it either way.

i miss the days of truly B-horror flicks like Troma. toxic avenger, tromeo and juilet, the class of Nuke 'Em High, cannibal the musical, redneck zombies...i mean, those were horror movies to remember and they still bring a smile to face, especially redneck zombies

I didnt really approve of Halloween being remade, but at least rob zombie actually did a good job. Bay will ass rape everything.

Well he's just producing, Wes Craven is writing and no one is on to direct so nothing will be Bay's fault if it even gets made.

I don't ever really watch horror films.
I like them, but I am always somehow disappointed.
I'm just going to stick with the classics (and anything Rob Zombie is a part of).
