So I don't know if you checked this out or not but Flickr is working with the Library of Congress to get some old photos from the national archive onto the internet. Well they did and theres a lot of pictures. I think its pretty cool they got them since I really don't have the time to go to Maryland to see them. I just wish they had this kind of thing when I was going to school.

I just got a bunch of pictures from my grandpa when he was a kid and theres photos of his great grandma in there. Its SUPER old.

Oh wow, I love these- especially the '40s ones with color, they look amazing! In NYC, there's a whole wall of black and white photography from the early 20th century at the Jewish Museum, but these are way better quality.
