I was just out at Green Valley this weekend for a day trip. Here is what I found out:

1) You can not reserve spots there, it's first come first serve.
2) No cell phone reception there at all on AT&T or Verizon.
3) Parking is $6 per day per car on top of the camping fee.

However the falls were amazing and totally fun to swim in. Cody and Vanity what do you guys think?

The place I was talking about is called Burnt Rancheria in the Laguna Mountains. I was just out there this last weekend and it is a really beautiful campground but it had a lot of bugs. On our way home we went to Green Valley Falls just to check it out and I still think that might be our best bet.

Well lets stick with the original plan!

Im thinking that its a plan! I looked over the pictures from the Falls. That looks like we'd all have way more fun out there.

I'm definitely down for this. I haven't been camping in years. I don't own any camping gear, but I can buy it.

Haha same here, I think I have a tent at my moms house. But that may be the one shes been using for my dogs doghouse...

As far as food for camping it's just easier for everyone to bring there own right? If anyone wants to put their money together we could also make a trip out to the store. There is a convenience store at the lake about 5 miles down the road with all the beer and junk food

I say everyone brings like $10 or $20 for food and drink supplies if they aren't bringing their own..

going to buy an air mattress today- they are on sale at big 5 for 29.99 reg. 49.99 (i'm a sale whore)

and i agree with bringing 10-20 bucks for food. But snacks that dont need to be refrigerated are good too! Just make sure to bring airtight containers so the critters dont get in it!

Also-FIREWOOD! Does anyone have access to free and/or discounted firewood? They always charge an arm and a leg at camping places for it, so some forthought in regards to getting it before we head out I think is called for.
