current camera 2007/12/06 19:15
Just thought I'd throw a fun question out there
Photographers, what camera are you currently shooting with and what camera do you want?

I'm shooting with my niffy nikon D200. I'm seriously considering buying a friends mamiya 645 afd for landscape work

Canon Rebel Xti with a Tamron AF18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 super wide angle macro lens and a SIgma 50mm-150mm F/2.8 lens.....

I really want a 5D though.....

I also want one of the Canon HD production cameras... the one that cost like $7000..... thats alot but SOOOOO worth it

I shoot with a Nikon D80 and use a Nikkor kit lens (3.5-4.5) 18-70mm that came with my old D70. I also use a AF Micro Nikkor 60mm 2.8. I bought a Tamron lens but hated it, I traded it to my best friend Jonathan Sevilla for a night with his wife! We played boardgames all night and watched movies. What did you think I traded for sexual relations? That would just be wrong!

I also use the Nikon MB-D80 Battery Pack and I wouldn't want to use the D-80 camera with out it. It makes the camera much larger and gives me a better grip. If you are a big guy like me, 6'4 and have big hands I would recommend it. Also it give you a portrait trigger which is awesome.

I also have a few SB-800 Speedlights, but I never use them anymore now that I have my Alien Bees and a portable battery pack.

If I could afford a new camera I would buy a Nikon D3. If I was a rich man I would buy a this camera!

D200 of course.

Ditto on the Hasselblad, Brian. That camera is PURE SEX.

The Mamiya is pure sex too, but a more affordable type

I have a Holga that I can't use. Too expensive
I also use Brian's d70 but so many buttons on these digital things. I hate having to relearn everything. Its so hard to get it to do what I want. I have my Pentax K1000 somewhere.
I want a 4 by 5 camera and a dark room

I scored and got a barely used D70 off craigslist and it's my new baby. I have crap for lenses but that's because I'm a 20 yr old living in SD! My other baby is my manual Nikon FM, I learned to shoot on that with b+w film when I was 14 ^_^
