Red - End of Silence
Gloom Album Review, By Ashley Plattner
April 2, 2008
Red uses a blend of industrial, hard rock, and classical music in their album, End of Silence. The album was released June 6, 2006, Red's debut. Through word of mouth and myspace this band has reached over 125,000 fans. End of Silence is comprised of eleven songs all of them unique. With songs like "Breathe into Me" and "Pieces" it's no wonder they are accumulating fans so fast.

Their lyrics relate to everyday life and the joys and pains of love, "Breathe your life into me, I can feel you, I'm falling, falling faster, Breathe your life into me, I still need you, I'm falling, falling, breathe into me." (Breathe into me) Each song tells its own story of betrayal, finding your way through a broken mess, loss of love, or even being lost in love. When one of their songs gets stuck in your head you welcome them, you end up walking around banging your head and while everyone looks at you in wonder you just smile because you feel apart of something mind blowing. While listening to End of Silence it’s hard not to move, whether it is full blown dancing or just tapping your foot. This album causes a kaleidoscope of emotions, many feelings surface at one time blending and creating an experience like no other. End of Silence is a perfect album for a crazy party or even when spending a night with yourself doing whatever it is you enjoy.

With all the success of their debut album Red decided to recently re-release End of Silence as a Deluxe Edition album which includes; behind the scenes, Video blog, making of End of Silence, a music video and much more. Both editions of Red can be found at Wal-Mart for a reasonable price, $10 for the regular edition and $15 for the deluxe edition.
