There Will Be Blood - Ugh. It was disappointing, it could have been wrapped up in a 90-minute TV special instead, but Daniel Day Lewis deserved his Oscar. Still though, it got long and boring and felt reletively pointless.

Hard Candy - Holy shit. I haven’t seen Juno yet (yes, I know I should), but this movie gave me a newfound respect for Ellen Paige’s acting skills. Very well done and certainly a good movie.

Secretary - Oooooh shit was that fucking hot. Maggie was great and this was a role custom built for James Spader. I think this movie kinda suggests to some mainstream couples that fetish/submissive/dominant roleplay can be fun. Good stuff.

Superbad - Loved it!  This is like American Pie for the 21st century. Great jokes, totally funny!

Blood Car - Hilarious! This is a low-budget independently-made black comedy about a dystopian future where gas prices are up to Soylent Green levels; and a school teacher invents an engine that runs on human blood. It stars the girl that was in the movie "My Girl" many years ago, who has turned into a total hottie in this movie being a nerdy little hippie. While there are some small continuity errors (like a bullet hole magically moving from the back end of the car to the top of the trunk) and some of the special effects suffered a little (there’s a shot-to-the-head scene that’s really bad), the comedy from this movie makes up for any errors. Rent this movie with friends and get a 12-pack of beers, enjoy the ride.

Knocked Up - Man oh man, the relationship between Paul Rudd’s character and his wife reminded me so much of my sister’s marriage. It’s the odd couple of Super Bitch and Mr.Awesome. She keeps ordering him around, sometimes humiliates him in front of others, to the point where sometimes I wonder if there’s even a good bone in her body. With that being said, I enjoyed this film a lot. It wasn’t necessarily because it was funny, the jokes weren’t what made the movie for me. It was how true to life this movie can be sometimes.
