So, I must say I am dissapointed with a LJ community called EGL.  I will not go into detail, but this is the life of a lolita.  I expected sisterhood and I got the door shut in my face, it seems to me after they saw what I looked like they turned the other check.  I am not trying to be vain, however it is insane what some girls will say when they are jealous. 
It says in the magazine Lolita Bible that you are supposed to be polite but I guess they read something else.  Some girls dress in lolita for escapism, or never wanting to grow up.  I dress in it, because I feel beautiful in the clothing and I enjoy the style of it. I say to any girl who joins a community with her fashion peers to be bigger then them and polite no matter the situation. 
Also, it doesn't matter if its brand non-brand.  It is so silly, Japan likes to usually make only one size for lolita clothes and so you must be very small usually.  Oh, so silly, if you like lolita clothes make them your own even if your shirt is from target or a very popular gothic clothing line.
