Modeling is a lot more strenuous than one would think. Gen and I shot from 2:30 until almost six yesterday, and I am down right exhausted because I had to go to work all night. I'm about to go and crash and sleep the day away.
It's not as easy as it looks, however, it is as fun as it looks. We got a lot of interesting looks walking around downtown dressed the way that we were. An old lady slowed down and nearly stopped traffic during one of the shoots, and I kept misplacing my keys. A nice baker lady told me and Gen that we looked more beautiful than the art on the wall behind us while she carried in a cake that I wanted to devour because by that time I was starving since we'd been shooting for two hours solid. Some guy leaned out of his car and almost fell out, I swear, and wooped and hollered. A nice guy let us take a pic next to his sweet motorcycle. The photographer was a joy to work with, I'm so glad he asked us to work with him, we all had such a blast. He shot 600 pictures even, no kidding. It was insane.
Afterwards Gen and I got food and went to mine and Molly's place, and Gen was trying to step out of her heels and she just toppled over Hiro's kitty carrier, and she almost died! The kitty carrier was demolished, and that thing is not flimsy! (I mean... it holds HIRO in it for God's sake, and if that cat can't escape then it has to be a durable cat carrier!) Man, Gen was laying on the ground all sprawled out and laughing, so then me and Molly were laughing so hard we had to sit on the ground too. We were laughing so hard we couldn't even breathe, and all I can see is Gen laying there saying "I'M OKAY, I'M OKAY" in between fits of laughter.
It was a good day.
